A Custom Outdoor Living Space in Regina Beach
A well-designed outdoor living space brings together comfort, functionality, and durable exterior materials. In Regina Beach, Saskatchewan, Cornerstone Masonry & Exteriors completed this covered gazebo project featuring custom masonry, posts and beams, and exterior finishing around a fully equipped outdoor kitchen.
The finished space combines natural-looking stonework with a sheltered cooking area, creating a welcoming setting for entertaining, relaxing, and enjoying the outdoors. With an open view of the surrounding landscape, the gazebo offers the benefits of outdoor living while providing overhead protection and a defined gathering space.
Custom Masonry for an Outdoor Kitchen
The masonry is a key feature of this project. Stonework surrounds the outdoor kitchen and creates a substantial, integrated base for the built-in cooking appliances. The masonry also continues along the perimeter of the covered area, helping tie the kitchen and seating space together visually.
For outdoor kitchens, masonry can provide a durable and attractive finish that complements the surrounding architecture. The choice of stone colour, texture, and layout can help establish the overall style of the space, whether the design is rustic, contemporary, or somewhere in between.
Professional masonry installation is important for achieving consistent joints, clean corners, and a finished appearance that works with the other building materials.
Posts, Beams and Exterior Finishing
The gazebo’s posts and beams help define the covered structure and frame the outdoor living area. Combined with the ceiling finish and surrounding masonry, these elements create a cohesive design without closing off the views of the property.
Coordinating masonry with structural and exterior components is an important part of a project like this. Each material needs to work with the overall design, with careful attention to transitions, alignment, and finishing details.
Cornerstone Masonry & Exteriors works on projects that bring together multiple exterior materials, helping homeowners and project teams achieve a consistent finished result.
